Mrs. Sobhagyawati Gupta, presently serving as Senior Assistant Librarianat the Central University of Rajasthan, Kishangarh, Ajmer. She possesses over 22 years of professional experience in the field of library and information science. Before joining the Central University of Rajasthan, she worked for approximately four years at Banasthali University and for over three years at Maharani’s College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She completed her Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in 2003, securing a Gold Medal. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (M.A.), completed in 2005, and qualified the UGC-NET with JRF in June 2008.

She has presented numerous papers at various national and international conferences and has published over 25 research papers in journals, conference proceedings, and edited volumes. She also served as Co-editor of the national Hindi journal ‘Granthalaya Vigyan’ during 2014–2015. She served as a Council Member of the Rajasthan Technical Library Association (RTLA) during 2022–2025, and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by RTLA for her outstanding contributions to the association. Presently, she is working as Treasurer of the association.
